This book a simple guide for people who are interested in learning about plants, roots, barks, and herbs that they can harvest to make their own home remedies or to make extra money. People who just have an interest in the subject may find this book interesting also. It is great for beginners or seasoned hunters as well. It is a list of some of the most common things you can forage and harvest yourself. Each plant has color images showing the particular plant along with the genus of each plant, a brief history, what kinds of things it can be used for, and a general estimate of the value. There is green gold in your own back yard and if you are curious then this is a good place to start. Besides the monetary value, there is medicinal value. You never know when knowing this stuff could save your life.
