This title uses virtual voice narration

Virtual voice is computer-generated narration for audiobooks.

I’m only interested in a good time. Nothing too serious.

But the chemistry between me and my new client is off the charts.

My go-to is to get the girl, have some fun, then part ways, friends or not. Her choice.

The office romance budding between us leaves me wanting to break my own rules.

Then I remember why I put them in place. My father left when I was young.

Love seems out of reach. It did for my mom. It does for me.

This woman is beautiful, curvy, and smart as hell though.

And she challenges me. In all the right ways.

The fact that she has a little one stops me dead in my tracks though.

Namely because this beauty is so much like my mom—driven, focused, and out to own the world.

Meaning she’s not going to be around much. And honestly, I’m not father material.

Hell, I can barely take care of myself.

Besides, I’m a terrible role model.

I’m definitely no saint, but what self-proclaimed bad boy is?

Great story - virtual voice is ok - difficult to discern who’s speaking. Maybe have a male and female virtual voice to make it easier to determine.

Several words spelled the same but pronounced differently aren’t distinguished by virtual voice.

I still prefer audiobooks and am happy to know the Parkers are doing audio books in any format.

Male/female voice please

This is a good story, but the AI narration sometimes detracts from the experience. The voice often doesn’t match the emotional tone of the dialogue—for example, sarcastic lines are delivered in a flat, neutral tone, which makes the intent unclear and occasionally confusing.

Another point of confusion is the use of a single male voice to narrate both perspectives in the story—one male (Abel) and one female (Sara). Early on, I missed the chapter titles indicating the narrator, which led to some mix-ups. For instance, I was puzzled when a child referred to their mother, and then in the very next chapter, the character was shaving a beard. It wasn’t immediately clear that the story alternates between two narrators. Once I realized that, the narrative became much more enjoyable.

To improve the listening experience, it would be helpful if the AI narration used distinct male and female voices that switch depending on the narrator. This would make transitions clearer and enhance the overall storytelling.

AI needs to catch up.

The story line was good but the digitalized voice is terrible! Their points where you don’t know if it’s the female or the male speaking and I find that distracting there’s also a lag as it changes chapters. At least I’m happy to say I didn’t pay for it. But I will be sure not to listen to any digitalized stories in the future.
