First - it’s a good story but if you are expecting P&P from Mrs. Bennet’s POV, this is not that. The story goes off book by a lot and I did find some of the titles given to characters (Lady Caroline - not accurate) to be annoying but since it wasn’t a true to the book story, I’ll try to get over it. It’s an enjoyable story just not what I expected of it.

Well - it’s not what I expected but enjoyable

This was from Mrs Bennet’s point of view and she was more astute and thoughtful than canon. But I liked it. She was very caring and I found her thoughts very commendable. Written in a witty way and the narrator did a great job.

Very different perspective

I’ve read the book and loved it. Dori Salerno’s words are brilliantly apt, and bring great reality and humor to such an archetypal character as Mrs. Bennett. But, hearing it In an authentic British dialect and beautifully spoken with clearly delineated characters was a delight! Being dyslexic, I live by audiobooks. I’m so thrilled to see this one in audio! One of my favorites, Mrs. Bennett’s Sentiments has now become something that I play on Audible constantly!

Dori Salerno brings the truth of womanhood to Mrs. Bennett’s archetypal character!
