Much Too Vulgar

This is an aptly named novel of wild horror thriller insanity. The narration was on point and the story was engrossing! I loved seeing Keely become more morally corrupt as the story went on. How far are you willing to go to get what you want?

Tense and disturbing

The narrator captured the protagonists voice perfectly, I felt like I was watching the story unfold through Keely’s eyes.
As always, with a Viggy Parr Hampton novel, you know it’s going to be rich with detail, knowledge, and scenes that are so visceral you will need a receptacle near by if you have a weak constitution. Hampton is clearly in her element with this story about a psychotic, med school student who just wants to be the very best. Keely has been held to a high standard her entire life and now that she’s competing with the best and brightest in her field, she will stop at nothing to hack and slash her way to greatness in the surgical world.
