Would you listen to Multiple Blessings again? Why?

I wouldn't listen to it again, no, but it was very enjoyable.

What did you like best about this story?

It's hard to fathom birthing and raising 6-8 children, let alone sextuplets and twins. It's enjoyable to see what a life unimaginable is like.

Have you listened to any of Kate Gosselin’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No, I haven't. Obviously Kate is not an actress or performer. But after a bit, you get used to her style of reading.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes

Any additional comments?

An interesting look back, especially when you know what happened later on. It's a shame, they really seemed to love eachother.

Enjoyable!

If you are a fan of Jon & Kate Plus 8, you will enjoy this story of how it all began. The stort does get a little dry and monotone at times. I really appreciate Kate sharing how her faith got her through this.

If you like the show, You'll like this book

I loved listening to every minute of Kate telling the story of her marriage, journey into parenting 8 children, adjusting to her big family, and becoming a media sensation.

Loved It

I was expecting more but the book is nothing but Kate whining, wanting & expecting sympathy for the six children that she claims is her fate from God. If you haven't seen the show then you might believe her strong and deep religious beliefs. However, if you are like me and have seen the show then the book is a far reach from the truth of their real life. Also, Kate herself is the narrator which makes the story even harder to listen too. Also.. The last two chapters are very confusing. Kate tries to wrap the book up with clever little sayings but ends up losing the listener by going back to her pregnancy. At first I thought I hit the wrong button on my i pod putting the story back on the first chapter but then figured out that it really was the last chapter in which she lists the 6 major complaints of her pregnancy. Plus she gives some flimsy thank yous to people she doesn't know, who, how or where they helped. I wish I hadn't wasted my money on this boring audio about how selfish she is and how poor they are. Every chapter speaks of their financial struggles. Every chapter she apologizes for how she acted towards people then follows up with a "but I" excuse. Making her sound even more self centered and greedy. If you like the show then don't listen to this book or your will end up like me, disappointed and angry truth behind the show.

Boring, long and not worth my money or time
