Rylly Barr was plowing through the last set of finals on her last day of subbing, dreaming of spending the summer finishing her resort and getting caught up on her life and her new relationship with Anthony, a handsome Coast Guard Captain.

The very last thing that Rylly wanted to do was to think about her Geology Immersion Internship at Monmouth Caves National Park. She only attended the internship because the professor was her dad’s best friend. Then one of the girls disappeared in the middle of the night. She was never found. Because they were friends, she left a hole in Rylly’s heart.

It was an invitation to attend a reunion of the internship from hell. After much debate with herself, she had decided not to attend, was adamant that she wasn’t attending, was getting ready to shred the invitation when Bluebird, her resident psychic called. “Rylly, you have a dark cloud sending lightning bolts at you. You’d best change your mind because if you don’t go, the lightning bolts will come here and more than one person you love will be burned.
