Great finale

I’ve grown accustomed to novels that cover the waterfront in one volume. I don’t want to have to purchase a second volume in order to see what happens to the characters in the first volume in this case, the wealthy young man who has infiltrated the police departments cold case unit to solve his own problem! So, much as I enjoy Hillary Green, I won’t be buying another book because I really don’t care what happens to the spy in their midst.

Complicated characters and good storyline.

I’ve read all of the Hillary books and can’t wait for the next. They keep getting better.

Suspense on several levels

I love the new sub plots and surprises. Hillary remains the adept sleuth, but she now has two agile new characters bringing some depth and promising twists in the future as their characters are revealed.
