Huh? I’m so confused!

I’m a fan of Jim Eldridge’s books, specifically his Edgar and Rosa series, except for the last book. However, IMO, this book was awful! There were so many characters, with Italian names, that I was confused. I couldn’t keep track of them, which made it difficult to follow the story. In fact, I’m not sure that I would’ve been able to remember the names if they were English because there were so many characters. The ending was terrible because I didn’t know to whom the killer referred. Was this person even mentioned in the book?
If you decide to listen to the book, I suggest you make a list of characters. I wish I had.

Not a good written book

Love the history, but I don’t love the book. I have most of the books written by this author and have never been disappointed, but this is the one book I wish I could return it.

The mafia and so many characters with all Italian names difficult to track characters

Too much time spent on the mob and gangsters none of time spent on the location and the Colosseum itself too many characters with Italian names difficult to track no conclusion to the book
