A Foodie Cozy Mystery

This is a really good story! The plot will appeal to the inner foodie in listeners. A celebrity chef is murdered. A cast of interesting characters have motives, including other chefs and a food critic. I loved the plot, which was well thought out!

This audiobook also has delicious sounding recipes at the end.

Well-written & developed, a joy to read/listen to

Murder at the Gearhart (Cedar Bay Mysteries, Book 14), my twelfth read/listen from author Dianne Harman and my fourth read in her Cedar Bay Mystery Series. Well-written and developed, a joy to read/listen to. I was given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reviewing it. Kasey Logan's pleasant narration adds to an excellent book's enjoyment. I look forward to reading more in this series & from this author. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Truly Enjoyed

Diane Harman is a new author to me as is the narrator of this book. Both have won me over!
Murder at the Gearhart is a clean, uncomplicated mystery. You might wonder why I say uncomplicated. The answer is, I like to listen while driving, or doing needlework. Not every audiobook is written or recorded to be able to "catch" everything.
This was.
Kelly Reynolds owns Kelly's Coffee Shop. Her husband is the sheriff of their small town. He has planned a memorable birthday weekend for Kelly. And memorable it was! Starting with a murder! Kelly and her sheriff husband not only solve the crime, they befriend the people of Gearhart.
I really enjoyed the story and the narration and am looking forward to more by this duo.
Highly recommended!
