During the winter of 2014 I took a bus from Phoenix to El Paso and then into Mexico for a few weeks' adventure. From Chihuahua I took the El Chepe train through the spectacular Barranco del Cobre (Copper Canyon). Along the way I stopped in Creel before continuing over to San Ignacio and Los Mochis. After exploring Los Mochis, I continued down the coast to Mazatlan. Durango, Zacatecas, and Aguascalientes were next followed by my final destination, Guadalajara.
