My Adventures Around the World: Yucatan: Winter 2020

Deciding that my style of travel would ultimately be safe during the global pandemic, I had converted my summer trip to Colombia and Ecuador into a winter trip to Mexico. Mexico is basically the only place an American can travel to by air and not be quarantined for two weeks. Europe was not an option and my winter break isn't long enough for anywhere else. So, an easy destination was the only consideration. The Quintana Roo area of Mexico on the Yucatan peninsula was the logical choice. My travels took me from Cancun south along the coast to Puerto Morelos, Tulum, Cozumel, and Chetumal. From there, I returned north to Coba, Valladolid, and Tizimin before heading back to Cancun.
