He’s my best friend’s dad.
Twenty years older.
And the father of the three little heartbeats growing inside me.

I never expected one stolen weekend to change my life.
But the moment I looked into Dr. Robert's eyes, everything I thought I knew unraveled.

He’s calm, brilliant, and completely off-limits.
My best friend’s father. My secret crush. The man I should’ve stayed far away from.

But from the second we touched, it was instant.
Undeniable.
And once we gave in, there was no turning back.

The world closed in fast, especially when we realized someone was watching us.
Tracking us.

The danger should’ve torn us apart.
Instead, it pulled us closer.

Now I’m pregnant.
With his triplets.

His daughter suspects. She doesn’t know. And I’m terrified of what happens next, because the truth could destroy everything.

But I won’t apologize for loving him.
Not when it felt like fate from the very first touch.

A forbidden, age-gap, best friend’s dad romance packed with heat, danger, emotional stakes, and three little surprises you’ll never forget.

And just when I think we’ve survived the worst…
The real secret comes out.

The story was good but the virtual voice says dot at the end of each sentence. It kind of really distracts from the story.

The worst virtual voice ever dot

loved the story, but I have to admit that the poor narration was very distracting and did bring the story down a little.

hated the narrator

I liked that the story did not end until the babies were born, the best friends reunited, and that the whole book was focused on telling the story. The ending didn't feel rushed and not skipped towards a summarized happily ever after in an epilogue like with other books. I just don't understand why a Virtual Voice was used to narrate this, it would have been so much better with actual narrators to do justice to this book. It was quite annoying to hear "dot" and "apostrophe" every so often at the end of a sentence or when saying "don't", etc., hence, a 1 star on performance, but 5 stars on the story. Would definitely recommend to read this.

Surprisingly heartfelt story

I was very happy that the friendship between the two best friends won out over the anger and mistrust that they had. It was a complicated and suspenseful story.

How they fought for the truth and their love!

The AI narration was awful. The “narrator” read the end of almost every sentence with the word “dot”,
instead of a silent “period” as the logical ending to a sentence. I couldn’t follow the story with that awful word. I’m removing the book because the narration was a total FAIL.

Very poor AI narration. Couldn’t continue listening
