This is the detailed story of my personal journey of healing from triple negative breast cancer, a rare and aggressive type of cancer. I quickly decided that I wanted to avoid the harmful conventional approaches of chemotherapy and radiation, and instead focus on the many holistic options available.

My goal is to empower other cancer thrivers by sharing what I've learned along the way, and in the process, inspire them to lead the charge back to health!

Leslie's detailed account of her journey would certainly be a valuable read/listen for anyone with their own cancer diagnoses, or with a loved one grappling with cancer. While personally committed to her holistic path back to health, Leslie emphasizes the need for each person to discover their own journey, their own truth in their quest for answers and treatment. The inspirational quotes that led off each chapter were especially poignant and well-chosen. As a narrator of her own story (I listened to the book), her voice is flawless! I could listen to this narrator read the phone book. Her delivery is clear and smooth and infused with appropriate emotion--perhaps because this is her own personal story, but I have a hunch she is an enjoyable narrator on ANY topic. I applaud this author for keeping such detailed records of her journey and sharing them so honestly. In this way, she has taken all the power back from cancer and can help others on their "cancer thriver" path back to health and vitality.
