Midori Hunter has it all, including a midnight-black Aston Martin Vanquish S parked in the driveway of the mini mansion she shares with her husband, Dr. Ray Hunter. On the outside looking in, one would think Midori is happy, but it's another story when you don't marry for love, but rather for financial gain.

Tired of her cheating husband and fed up with being lonely, Midori takes a liking to Jaydah B., the sassy, sometimes cranky, best-selling author who has drama of her own that she hasn't quite figured out how to deal with. They appear to be a match made in heaven, but when the lies that both women have told threaten to be exposed, who decides who stays and who goes?

Midori and Jaydah have a lot on the line, and both could lose everything they've worked for. That's why their love affair has to remain their little secret.

I have to be fair, every time I wanted to stop the madness....I just couldn’t stop listening. Jayda was my favorite character and I just wanted her to finish that damned book! I wanted her to find love and a true partner. She kept me laughing every time she interacted with Navaeh! 😂

Midori is a hot mess and there is no way this chick was a pediatrician! She is not a very likable character. She can’t make up her mind on ANYTHING! She is completely selfish, a pathological lair, a user, a hypocrite and is not in anyway likable.

I would say that this is not a true lesbian romance. I would put it in the Bi erotic category. I hate labels, but if your looking for a lesbian romance you’ll be a bit disappointed. The sex between the woman was extremely hot.

Overall I would say the story went all over the place. There were times when I just say “wait...WTF is happening and WHY”. A couple of the characters say “there is too much going on right now” THIS is how I felt about the overall story. Anna J threw in too many situations that just didn’t need to be apart of this story. They did nothing to develop the story or characters. This happened right up to the end. Anna, I sorry but that last scene made absolutely NO sense.

I am kinda hooked on Anna J and, against my better judgement, I want to know what happens with Jayda.

Fun book, but I think EVERYONE in this book has really bad ADD!

Great story but, But I felt left hanging. I want to know what happened to the husband Monica Nevaeh. Also, what happens to Midor and Jayda in the future.

I have to say this is in the wrong section. this should be in erotica or drama but it's not a lesbian story. As a lesbian, I take the word very seriously although today as long as you're sleeping with a woman at any time they classify it as lesbianism. All in all, it was a great story with lots of dramatic twists and turns. this is also From a black women's perspective. That was also great for me being a woman of color so it may not be for everyone. You may not get it. It's hard to understand where somebody is coming from if you've never been in their shoes. The narrator did mix up her voices in the beginning at one point it got very Southern but after that she got it together. I love the fact she even tried to give different voices so you didn't get lost on who was saying what

lots of drama
