Aria, a vicious demon, is taken by surprise when she falls head over heels for Shigeru, a poor food cart chef. When her master, Lord Oboro, finds out, he plans on putting a stop to her foolish ways. Only, it doesn’t work out the way he intended it to. Shigeru is a demon himself, and he isn’t going to let anyone stop him from being with Aria. After Lord Oboro is defeated, they run off together. Promising to love each other forever.

But then Aria brings along an orphan, Yami, a young boy whose father she killed. He vows vengeance as he travels with them from place to place. What Yami doesn’t realize, is while he’s planning his revenge, he’s experiencing what it feels like to have a real family. All the while, Aria learns what it means to truly love. Can our murderous demon really be changed?
