Lane: Shaw and I have a unique kind of love. One that has found us inviting a third to join our bed from time to time. Our playmate is never meant to be anything more—fulfilling a purpose and leaving before sunrise the following day.

It had been the rule until Shaw went and confessed that he wants more. There's just one problem. I've been keeping a secret from the man I vowed to love forever. And it's the key to why we can never be a committed triad.

Shaw: Sex is more than an action; it's an intimate exchange between partners. And I can no longer continue to have meaningless sex with strangers that disappear in the morning light.

I never thought the man I love would be so opposed to sharing our life with another—until a stranger lands in our bar one night.

Keegan: I'm no stranger to denying myself the basic needs I want in life. It's how I ended up here, alone, on the cusp of my dream job.

My plans, goals, and ambitions fall apart before my very eyes, and it's then that two strangers find their way into my life. Professional football may not be ready for an out and proud coach, but I'm willing to take a chance on the two men who I vow will one day be mine.

Contains mature themes.

What I liked/loved:
Sawyer was my favorite character. In particular. I I loved the second to last chapter from Lane’s POV. I liked the character development. This is my first book by this author and clearly, based on the side characters, this is an extensive universe. I’m intrigued for Coven’s book now, but I don’t know if I’ll read the previous books.
The narration was amazing. Chris Chambers is one of my favorites.

What I didn’t like:
Some of the scenes are cut off or start part way through. It’s like the author ran out of steam or picked up mid stream. I don’t know if this was their doing or an editor’s. I almost gave the book three stars because this was so frequent, but it redeemed itself in the last few chapters.

It was interesting to see Lane and Shaw have a tight relationship but both feel something special when they meet Keagan. I like the feel of how their relationship grows. The later section of the book is full of drama. The epilogues are also interesting. The audio was fun to listen to.

I liked this story and the MCs and the friends a lot.
The pacing of the story felt a little rushed in places and there were no pauses in the audio whenever time passed.
Intimate scenes were OK but not stellar. The author set up a certain position and rushed us through it without much, if any dialogue, descriptions or sensations from the mc perspective. Most of the love scenes were almost PG and skipped over any “good bits”.
I am interested in the characters enough to listen to the next book, but only because it is included in my audible membership.

Really interesting but PG take on a poly relationship

Loved the thruple story but it needed 3 performers to differentiate between 3 men and their private thought conversations.

Great story but hard to keep track of characters
