1. OLDER BROTHER’S GRUMPY BEST FRIEND:

An engine rumbles in the distance.

SHE FREEZES.

She KNOWS THAT SOUND!

Her heart stopped for a second, then skipped a beat.

And now it’s pounding hard in her chest!

She watches, mesmerized as

Matthew!

Lifting his helmet, if in slow motion,

shaking out his wavy brown hair.

He looks the same,

her brother’s best friend’s eyes

Locked onto HERS.

2. MY BROTHER’S GRUMPY GROOMSMAN:

OH MY GOD!

She can’t stand him!

For the sake of her brother and his bride-to-be,

She has been trying her best to tolerate him.

Until the night of the Stag and Doe

She overhears him trying to persuade her brother

To NOT get married.

Through gritted teeth, she glares at him,

Pointed her finger to the door

And threw her brother’s Groomsman.

Out of the hall AND the wedding party!

3. MY NEW GRUMPY NEIGHBOR:

The new neighbor is disturbing her session with her client

She storms out of her office to confront him.

The door swings open, “Well, hello, Beautiful!

How can I make you mine?” he says.

She complains about the noise.

He hands her some noise-cancelling headphones.

“What about my client?!” she asks.

He hands her another set of noise-cancelling headphones.

"How am I supposed to hear my client?" she complained.

“Oh. Not sure.” He says. “With your ears, maybe?”

His eyes twinkle with mischievousness, and his lips curl into a smile.

4. A SURPRISE FOR MY GRUMPY PROBATION OFFICER:

Her rebellious teenage daughter gets arrested, again…

A daughter she loves, but she is at her wits' end with this girl!

She stopped short when her eyes locked

on her daughter’s New Probation Officer.

To the shock of both of them,

She insists that they must leave immediately,

Demanding a different probation officer for her daughter.

Why?! They both ask.

Well because…

She is now forced to introduce the daughter to her unknown Father!
