Heartwarming Story

Chris Brinkley is a wonderful narrator. But he is also a great story teller. I've loved both of his currently released books. This one is unique in that it deals with a married couple. It was refreshing to see beyond the initial happily ever after and that marriage isn't always perfect and requires work and attention. I actually choked up several times while listening. I am so excited for this series to continue.

He had to reevaluate his life for love

I really enjoyed listening to this story. The way he had to reevaluate his life and decide he wanted to fight for his relationship with his wife was very heartwarming!

A revitalized marriage story

This was a story of a man who had to rethink his choices because he was faced by the crumbling status of his marriage.

I loved the flashbacks to when Thomas and his wife were young. The journey he had to take to realize what needed to be done to fix his marriage was beautiful.

Hits home.

A very different vibe from Zach’s story, and equally poignant. Evocative, thought provoking. Highly relatable and heartfelt. If you’re looking for lighthearted, gooey sugary romance and grand gestures, this is not the book. But if you want reassurance that men can manage their emotions and step up in honesty, integrity, and humility, then dig in.

Another gem!

I love Thomas’ story. So much heart. I can’t believe I took so long to get to it.
