Loved this as a dog lover this hit home and I listened to it all in one day

If you love dogs, you'll love this book.

Right off the bat, I've got to say that Cameron writes dog stories like Stephen King writes horror or Tom Clancy writes political/military thrillers. He's definitely found his genre and does well at it. Having said that, Cameron's novels deserve someone better to narrate them than Cameron himself! His narration is stuttered and jerky at times, and it detracted from the story. Like most of Cameron's stories, this one will make you smile, make you laugh, and will tug at your heart. Listening to this story at work made me want to rush home to hug my own dogs! One really nice touch is that Cameron includes a brief update on the lives of the street dogs in the epilogue. I can't tell you how much I appreciated knowing what happened to each after their brief appearances in the main story.

another great book from this author

another great book. love how this author writes and have loved every one of his dog books I have read. Almost all of his dog books have made me cry and this one did too. I love how he left it open so he could possibly write a book 2 to this book. I hope this is made into a movie too. Highly recommend reading this book if you are a dog lover. Just make sure to have your tissues.
