I enjoyed the first two books about the Greek and Norse gods but the Egyptian book, which is the one I was looking forward to most, mentioned the gods in the first couple chapters then only talked about the Pharaohs for the entire rest of the book.

If you’re looking for info on Egypt’s gods this is not the book for you

it was very concise and easy to learn all the original Gods. I listen to it over and over.

I was hoping for a collection of myths and stories from the mythology, but this was maybe only about half filled with those. Mostly it was explaining how each mythical character was related and religion’s impact on society. Narrator was pretty monotone but for somebody reading something that was more of a history book then a collection of stories I can’t really fault them on that too much.

Interesting, but not what I was expecting
