Two weeks into the Apocalypse . . . and the world has gone red.

It's been a long couple of weeks since the power shut off, and life is only getting harder. Much harder. A quiet resignation has set in. The power is not coming back anytime soon. The last holdouts of shelter-in-place are emerging from their doomed homes to find they've missed the boat on prepping for THE END. Desperation follows.

And the world itself seems broken. Cities burn and throw their ash high into the atmosphere, painting the sky red. Libraries are torched. Food stores totally looted. Homes invaded. Every abandoned car has been picked clean.

Frank starts his day in the heart of this disaster, far from the calm of his quiet street. But home is where he must go, since every scrap of intel he's picked up suggests the forces of darkness have their greedy eyes on the region's last refuge of the old America, Clownfish Cove.

I think the narrator, Kyle Tate is perfect for the role because he does many characters. Except for Carmen, she a hot and sexy Cuban who's read by a woman. Only Kevin Pierce does both male and female, he's the audiobook god of narration.
The lead characters all seem to have special talents and work well together. We get to know the whole neighborhood when battling evil from every which way they turn, some more exciting than others.
Yeah, so the neighborhood unites under Frank and his hottie Carmen the sizzling and voluptuous Lady and the neighborhood gets a whole lot of s#!t slung at them. That's where it all begins, the neighborhood watch is formed and if you know what's good for you, you better join up because you don't want to be on Frank's bad side.
Great series

A good semi cohesive series about survival

The whole damn series had to be written by a beta Bob. This is a series if you bored out of your mind. The most aggravating forehead smacking creator. I have ever read. I hope I'm far far far far away from the author if this ever happened.

Disappointed
