Weirdly Lazy Story

I’ll start by saying I love this series. I think the narration is absolutely top notch. That being said, and without giving any spoilers, it felt like the last third of the story is completely disjointed and lazy. The characters do things that make no sense, specifically the things that Barbara does that put her in danger twice. It reads almost like the author spent 90% of their time writing the first two-third of the book and rushed through the last third to make a deadline. I’ll keep listening to the series but the author needs to figure out how they botched the last third of this one.

Great series! Looking forward to the next DS Walker adventure!

Good character development. Educational about the settings’ flora and fauna. Well read and plot holds your attention.

Mystery part good - Final ending a dissapointment

This one was better than the last one. The ending on the murder mystery part was very good. I did not see it coming. The final ending of the book was disappointing. It felt like an ending for a soap opera. String you along to see what happens in the next book??? I do not have patience for that.
