Neutron Cosmonauts is very imaginative. It bends humour and philosophical questions about technology and humanity. Astrid’s friendship with AI companion Milly adds depth, purpose and the inventive mission and quirky cast keep the story engaging. A creative, uplifting read for fans of science fiction adventure.

Very Interesting

Neutron Cosmonauts completely surprised me—in the best way. Bryant Johnson blends humor, science, and heart so smoothly that I found myself caring just as much about the characters’ late-night conversations as their cosmic discoveries. Astrid Starlyn felt real to me—driven yet imperfect—and his friendship with Milly, the AI, gave the story an emotional center I didn’t expect in a sci‑fi tale. Chuck Allen’s narration brings that connection to life; his voice captures both curiosity and compassion, making the quieter moments just as captivating as the big ones. The mix of grand ideas and small, human details kept me thinking long after I finished listening. It’s one of those rare audiobooks that makes you look up at the stars and wonder what it really means to be alive.

Made Me Laugh and cry

I’m still kind of reeling from this one. It’s just... wow. The story is so full of heart and big dreams. I felt like I was right there in the lab with them. The narrator did a fantastic job; their voice was so clear and crisp. No background noise or distracting clicks at all. It was just a super smooth listen. This audiobook made me cry and laugh. It really makes you think about what it means to be human.
