Eleven years ago, Lindsey Nash escaped into the night with her young daughter and left an abusive relationship. Her ex-husband, Andrew, was sent to jail and Lindsey started over with a new life.

Now, Lindsey is older and wiser, with her own business and a teenage daughter who needs her more than ever. When Andrew is finally released from prison, Lindsey believes she has cut all ties and left the past behind her. But she gets the sense that someone is watching her, tracking her every move. Her new boyfriend is threatened. Her home is invaded, and her daughter is shadowed. Lindsey is convinced it's her ex-husband, even though he claims he's a different person. But has he really changed? Is the one who wants her dead closer to home than she thought?

With Never Let You Go, Chevy Stevens delivers a chilling, twisting thriller that crackles with suspense as it explores the darkest heart of love and obsession.

I enjoyed this book. I wouldn't call it a "nail-biter" but it kept my attention. The author does a nice job of setting the plot and developing the characters. The narrators are great too.

Good story. Good narration. I love this author and she did not disappoint.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Yes - the audible performer was really good.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

The plot and ending was straight out of a lifetime movie.

Lifetime movie

Not a big fan of this one. What was a fairly decent plot, was pulled down by the less than believable 2 female characters. Their thoughts and actions were just frustrating and they came across as whiny and codependent on each other. The narrators both seemed to add to this with their performances. This author seems to have better reviews with some of her other books, so I'll definitely try her again. Overall this wasn't awful, but it definitely wasn't one of my favorites.

Frustrating Characters

started out as victim glorification, floated into a "many characters who-dunit" and throughout, tried too hard which wound up making it not bad - but not good. Narrators also tried to hard. quaking voices and teen aged "up talkers". Story or Narration improvement might have helped alot, but both fell short.
