Good story. Mystery with a good ending. Usually listen at night when going to sleep. not the best idea with this book because you miss details.

Enjoyed

Excellent story, this is the first non Rizzoli and Isles novel of hers I have read. I look forward to reading, er, listening to more.

Well told

As usual I loved the story that Tess Gerritsen has written. And Amy McFadden has done another fantastic performance reading this story.

Great story ...

Normally Tess Garretson is my favorite Author, but this title was unlike any of her other works. The romance angle was so corny I couldn't stop rolling my eyes, and the story itself was boring and hard to follow. The voices were distracting as well.

So corny

I didn't realize until I listened to the credits at the end that this book was written almost 20 years ago. I love Tess's more current books and I kept thinking as I listened that this was not as high quality as the pacing was slow, the story was mediocre, and romance instead of suspense was at the forefront. Once I realized that this is one of her older books originally written for Harlequin then it made sense. The audio is newer and that's what confused me. Overall I was disappointed and will wait for her next new release as she has definitely improved over the years.

Disappointing
