O'Neil De Noux has the ability to write in many different genres and shine in all of them. This collection brings together some of his strongest characters, 1940s Private-eye Lucien Caye, 1890s NOPD Detective Jacques Dugas, NOPD Homicide Detective John Raven Beau, and the ever relyable NOPD Homicide Detective Dino LaStanza. Each story is a gem brought to life by the narration of John Tambascio. De Noux stories are great on the page, but his prose is such that listening to the audio of the tales gives them an added dimension. Highly recommended...

Reader needs to do his homework

I cannot believe the reader was allowed to publish this audio with all these mispronounced place / street names.
Many of them were pronounced so badly I couldn't figure out what the actual street was.
Really messed up the idea of the setting of the book.
