Morning news anchor Neil Klein has a mouth that often gets away from him. When one of the things he says on air puts his life in danger, the bratty “little” resists the bodyguard his producer hires. He doesn't need anyone to run his life and nobody is going to tell him what to do. At least, that's what he says when he fires the hot new bodyguard.

Except that former Ranger Brody Johnson isn’t willing to leave. He was brought in to do a job and he’s going to do it. Neil needs a keeper, that much is obvious. Also clear? The only one uniquely qualified for the position is a protective former Dom with all the skills that a twenty-year military career can teach a man.

This is a 25k stand-alone novella. Watch out for adorable cats, a little who’s really a middle, and enough Mario references to make you hear the game’s music beeping and booping through your mind. You’ll probably catch yourself giggling out loud, but what else can you expect from a Susan Hawke book?

So cute!

I love this short cute Daddy/Boy story! Brody and Neil are so sweet and cute together. I just love this age play story so much. Then to have Michael Dean doing the narration is amazing. I just love listening to him. He brings so much life into the story and makes me love the story even more.

Loved this!!

When I was listening to this I had to remember it was a short book cause I kept thinking how quickly they got together and then had to remember it was a short book, but I loved it!! I have to thank Susan for getting me into Daddy/Boy or little books. I kept digging in my heals and was like this is odd but will check it out. SO GLAD I DID!! Michael Dean did an amazing job and I just loved how Neil and Brody got together.

News Boy

News Boy is a sweet short story about Brody, a former Ranger and current bodyguard to Neil, a newsman and little. Though it turns out Neil needs a Daddy more than a bodyguard. They really are perfect for each other.
Narrator Michael Dean does another marvelous job.

News Break

Circumstances bring them together but Brody and Neil are a good fit. I like how both of them seemed sort of surprised by it. This was a fun story with a side of drama.

Great short story

This was a well written short story!! Neil was little (who was really a middle?) who's IRL job helped to make him a target. He needs a body guard and Daddy. He gets Brody, a former Ranger who doesn't take Neil's attitude!! This was an awesome story!! Michael Dean does an amazing job with narration!!
