Nikolai, a grumpy bodyguard, is assigned to protect Layla as she runs for mayor and faces threats. The story blends Christian themes with suspense and romance. The dynamic between Nikolai and Layla includes great banter and is easy to enjoy. CC Kline brings the characters to life with narration that fits the tone of the story beautifully.

Nikolai by Ashlea McComas is an amazing bodyguard romance. C. C. Kline did an incredible job with the narration. The story is entertaining, interesting, enjoyable, funny, wholesome, clear, and more. Nikolai is part of The Bodyguards of Bethel series.
