This short handbook explains Niyoga, an ancient Indian practice with its roots in Hindu tradition. It is a custom that allows for the continuation of a family lineage when a man is unable to father a child with his wife, typically due to infertility or other reasons. In such cases, the husband would arrange for his wife to conceive a child with another man, often a chosen Brahmin, in a structured and ritualistic manner.

As a South Asian Brahmin by birth, I was well-acquainted with the rich ancient Indian practices including the enigmatic tradition known as Niyoga which allows a childless woman or a widow to have out-of-wedlock relations with a Brahmin to have a male child. My serendipitous introduction to this obscure practice occurred when I had to perform this act at a very young age. I have narrated that unforgettable life-changing episode of my life in my autobiography published by Amazon and available at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09N2M5VSK.
