The only possible suspects are Odessa and the four other players that were locked in the escape room with the victim. She refuses to believe that one of them is responsible for the murder, despite what the clues indicate. In between shifts at the café, Odessa splits her time interviewing the murder suspects, updating the bookstore's social media accounts, and searching for the impossible--an affordable apartment in Brooklyn.

But crime--and criminally high rent--waits for no woman. Can Odessa clear her and Izzy’s names before the police decide they're guilty?

A Great Listen

Odessa is very believable as a Southerner learning to adjust in a big city. Great supporting cast of characters. Impressive the way the narrator changed accents.

Kept me guessing the until the end

This cozy was even better than the previous one, a great follow up to "Killer Content" This sequel did not disappoint it kept me guessing through until the very end!

Fun Story, Repetitive Sequel

The characters are fun and mystery entertaining. I felt that a large portion of the story was made up of repetitive descriptions of how the main character was your classic “small town girl in the big city”. Especially this being a sequel too much time was spent throughout the book repeating things we already know about the characters and about the city.
