The great writer William Norman Grigg deserves a legacy, and as luck would have it, he happened to put together a selection of his work for publication several years before his tragic death in the spring of 2017. Though the project was put on a back-burner for several years, his death adds a new urgency to expanding the reach of Will’s work.

William Norman Grigg (1963-2017) was the managing editor of The Libertarian Institute. He was an independent, award-winning investigative journalist and author of five books, including Liberty in Eclipse: The War on Terror and the Rise of the Homeland Security State, as well as his blog Pro Libertate. He was a loving husband and doting father to six children, a dedicated voice for liberty, and a prolific writer and blogger on the subjects of police misconduct and police militarization.

Will Grigg (1963–2017), the former Managing Editor of The Libertarian Institute, was an independent, award-winning investigative journalist and author. He died at far too young an age and can never be replaced. He was by far the most articulate libertarian of the 21st century until his tragic death.

This audiobook, a series of hard-hitting and thought-provoking essays about the State and those unfortunate people who end up dealing with the "business end" of it (the police), is well worth listening to and/or reading. I also recommend listening to and/or reading his earlier book "Liberty in Eclipse".

His complete writings and archives of his podcast, Pro-Libertate Radio, can be found in the archives section of The Libertarian Institute.

The late, great Will Grigg
