Texas Ranger Bo Hawkins sets out hunting the Evans boys after they murder his wife and daughter. Following their trail, he rides into the town of Calico after killing a man who sneaks into his camp with murderous intent. That sets in motion a series of events that require all of his time and skill to handle. As he walks the streets of and area around Calico, he tries to sift facts from lies.

There seems to be more lies than anything else. Rustling, robbery, and murder are taking over the town. And the town marshal, an ex-Ranger and friend of Hawkins’, doesn’t seem to have a clue as to what’s going on. The stakes continue to rise as Hawkins seems to be everyone’s target. Bodies pile up, and Hawkins has no answers, only more questions.

Can he solve the problems plaguing the town? Will he survive long enough to even come close? The ending may be surprising...

I had to stop listening before the end. I don’t think I have ever heard a worse performance.
