A nice addition to find out some more about characters and find out for sure what went on with Ella and Blaine

a bit dark, but good insight into characters

I'm not one for audible books as all too many sound almost corny. This narration however was very well done! Pavi Proczko delivered a fantastic rendition of a great book. The narration was smooth and flowed well. While he did attempt various voices, he succeeded where most fail. I would highly recommend this reading to someone interested in Rachel E. Carter's Black Mage series!

Two Thumbs Way Up!

This "prequel" succeeded as it was meant to succeed, luring me straight into the first in the series. Good writing and world-building, and many points of interest. The characters were well-developed, though mostly people I would not want to know.

Enticement into the series, quite successful
