When amateur sleuth and dog trainer, Eve, and her bold, brave cadaver dog Atlas go out to recover it, there’s no body, but it’s clear something was afoot. After receiving a report of suspicious activity on the small lake at night, Atlas and Eve stretch their abilities to conduct a water search.

Finding the body is only the tip of the iceberg, because no one has reported the woman who was killed as missing. In fact, by all accounts, she still seems to be alive–her social media account is active, someone has been bringing her packages in, and Eve discovers that the victim even called a few days after her death to cancel a dentist’s appointment.

Small town murder hits close to home!

Poor Eve! Every time she turns around, there is another murder to solve. Actually, I am loving every minute of this series, from the small town focus to the fabulous residents. This one is interesting as the murder involves social media and had me guessing the entire time. Eve and her cadaver finding dog, Alex are brought in to find a body that has been moved. A strange request, but when the body is found, there are many things that don't line up and Eve is on the move along with her best friend Tiana to find the answers. Little do they realize the implications. Plus the relationship between Aidan and Eve continues to bloom. This is a fabulous addition to the series and I can't wait to see what happens next.

Julie McKay continues her voices of this small town. Each book is consistent with each character, she makes it feel like I am part of the community. This book in particular had a lot of moving parts and each scene is spot on with suspense and excitement. Loved it!

Intrigue humor and heart!

This one was definitely a fun one to solve. A murder, a missing body and a book influencer who is pronounced dead yet is still posting videos? Eve's got her work cut out for her in this one!

Another great story by Patti who manages to write intrigue, humor and heart in a novella sized package so beautifully! Julie McKay once again delivers an outstanding performance!

Eve and Aiden with Atlas

Eve and Aiden were about do sit down and watch movies when an unexpected call from the Sherrif needing her Eve's help in finding someone. Atlas is called into action.

Another great instalment in the Search and Rescue Cozy Mystery series.
Love Patti's writing and Julie McKay solo performances is an enjoyable listen.

Kept me guessing!

I am really enjoying how these books pick up where the previous one left off. Hooked on the crew from Granite, Michigan. I couldn’t wait to jump in for more mystery with Nose Dives by Patti Benning.

Eve and Aidan have made it official. So many good things in store for this newly cute couple. As Eve and Aidan settle in for a romantic afternoon watching movies, a desperate call from the local Sheriff changes their plans.

As the town comes to terms with a murder mystery needing to be solved. Eve along with her cadaver dog Atlas, finds herself on a search which challenges Atlas’s skills and training. Can Atlas deliver, will the search result in a recovery?

Things aren’t adding up with this latest mystery.I had to keep reading to find out. Enjoying the flow and timeline of these stories.

I liked how Patti has written a number of possible suspects who could have been responsible for the murder in this story. Kept me guessing until the end.

The standout for me is the performance by Julie McKay, the transitions and transformation into each and every character is superb. At many times I was sure there was more than one voice actor. Julie’s male voice, next level! With their relationship taking the next step, I can hear the excitement of new love in Eve and Aidan’s voices. Brilliant, Julie!
