This was so cute and fluffy!

I really liked it! A warm and happy romantic comedy with good chemistry between all the characters

Best listened to at .85x or .90x

The narrator is fine, but she rushes through the story like a racehorse. slowing down 10-15% makes it much more enjoyable. Hopefully the narrator learns over time to take is slower and let listeners savor her skills. :-)

I love the location of the story. Brookings is one of my favorite stomping grounds.

Surprisingly Good

I decided to reread all the Dane/Billings books I bought out of order, but read/listen to all the books in order. This book was an addition the second time around and I’m so glad I got it. The story is sweet, but still a bit spicy.

This story is about adults?

If you like cheesy, adults that act and talk like they are 17 then this book is for you. Narration makes them sound like teens. One of the main characters sounds so naïve, simple, and a huge airhead. The other one is an out of touch rich girl who says she’s not rich even though her family has a huge real estate empire. The sex scenes are so immature and cheesy. Super cringe! I haven’t even finished it yet and there are 2.5 left and I’m not sure I can finish it.
