An entertaining and captivating listen

I really enjoyed this story. The concept of having a week to live and using it to solve your own murder is so smart and really draws you in. The writing good and the characters, though flawed are relatable.

So gripping... all the turns keeps you hooked up from the beginning to the end!!!!

Decent story but unpleasant narrator

Probably would feel like a typical small town mistery if it wasn’t so emotionally engaging. Cried my eyes out.
On the other hand narrator isn’t good. I guess her voice makes sense for Jet and while she is talking or thinking it’s feels natural, but the moment she voices Billy, or Mom, or Sofia - it’s impossible to listen to. Really hurts your ears.

I’m returning this. Literally couldn’t even get half way through. I got this cos it was the good reads pick of the year but damn. This suuuuuuuucks.
