Excellent plot!

I wish all the books were included in Audible Plus Catalog. I enjoyed hearing this book

Samuels disappointment

It was sad that the family separated after all those years. The mother was a real piece of work, and was so selfish while the husband did all he could to make her happy. I wish Samuel had not hurt Hannah like he did . And was a heroine !

Awkward, rushed ending.

The beginning of the book had good character development. It gets sloppy at the end, the last chapter should have been 2 or 3 chapters.

Story is complicated

Well, the story is complicated to follow, the plot line is thin and flimsy, and not always congruent with the time in which it takes place. Also, you are left with such a loose end at the end of the story you are now compelled to listen to the second book, unless you realize that this is like the twilight series and will never end.
