Some ghosts aren’t content to haunt. Some want you to remember.

When fifteen-year-old Eli is lured to an abandoned warehouse by the classmates who’ve tormented him for years, he thinks it’s just another cruel prank. He’s wrong. What happens that night leaves Eli dead, the town reeling—and something else behind.

His foster brother and best friend, Adam, can’t accept the silence that follows. Grief twists into obsession as he uncovers a ritual book buried in soot and blood, promising impossible things. As Adam digs deeper, the line between guilt and horror begins to blur, and the ash that clings to him won’t wash away.

Now adults, the people responsible for Eli’s death are being stalked by a presence that wears a familiar face. As the survivors unravel and the bodies mount, one question burns through the smoke:

Did Adam bring Eli back… or something much worse?

Nothing Left But Ash is a harrowing, slow-burn horror novella about trauma, grief, and the terrible cost of resurrection.

The story itself is very good, but I think what brings an audiobook to life is the narrator. The narration in this story was very well done.

I really enjoyed this audiobook. Anthony Radzykewycz does an amazing job with the narration. The way he creates the atmosphere is incredible. I could picture everything so clearly, like I was right there in the scenes. It made the whole experience fly by. If you're looking for an audiobook where the narrator really makes a difference, this one's worth checking out.

Vivid storytelling through excellent narration

A good read if you like the ldea of something small town true crime-ish with a supernatural twist. A little slower start due to initial character development, but then the pacing picks right up and the story keeps you reading. Narration is really well done with voices that fit the characters. I wouldn't recommended this for youth due to content, but I enjoyed listening on my commute to work.
