But as she grows increasingly obsessed with the tapes and numb to her own reality, Mae must grapple with the thin line between art and voyeurism and determine how she can remain her own person as the tide of the sixties sweeps over her.

This could have been better

Great premise and some interesting lines of thought. Overall the plot left much me a bit disappointed. There was so much of the subject time period to be mined. Maybe thats the point of this book.

Depressing but interesting

Not hilarious as described. Extremely well developed characters. A bit heavy at times. Cultish. Gave me an entirely darker, deeper and new perspective on Andy Warhol.

Boring n tedious

Just sounds like ranting from

Brat. Not much plot. No point. Don’t bother listening to it
