This is the most romantic, exciting historical romance I have listened to so far. I consider this a true gem among historical romances. It grips your heart and sweeps you away.

The narrator, Josephine Bailey is without a doubt the most talented of all of the narrators that I have yet to listen to. I only wish she would produce more historical romance audio books.

A very good read

This was a very good book, and well worth getting. The narration was excellent and the book itself was well paced. The only problem I had was that from time to time I wanted to hit Destiny and Jason over the head and tell them to get it together. All it all, it was a very good read

Beautifully written, off the beaten path

if all your historical romances are starting to run together, this story is powerful, gripping and emotional, with none of the expected plot devices. I didn't want it to end!

More Adventure then Romance

If you like detailed descriptions of battles, how to inflict wounds and stories where the hero and heroine spend more time chasing each other than in each others arms than this is the book for you. This story had lots of adventure but not much romance. Destiny needs a good shot of self esteem to help her realize that there were more important things in her lovers life then her!
