A scientist develops a rabbit, “Rabbit Number 9”, a highly intelligent variant of the fast breeding species. And not intelligence in rabbit terms, but human terms. The “Lab” had intended these experiments to further the human cause, but a human that intelligent could shortly dominate the world, and ordered the experiments stopped. When Number 9, a female, spots and peruses a jackrabbit hopping down the bunny trail, could this spell the end of human dominance of this world as we know it?

This is an adorable 22-minute short story about a scientist who accidentally creates an intelligent rabbit while trying to synthesize a new drug meant for improving the reaction time in fighter jet pilots for the air force.I'm getting a LITTLE tired of the fact that nearly EVERY science fiction short story is narrated by Mike Vendetti but he does a pretty good job, as usual.
If you have four or five bucks to spare, I think it is definitely worthwhile to check this story out.
