Becky, a nurse is returning to Hickory Falls was supposed to be her fresh start for her. Becky and Finn have known each other since they were little and a crush on him since forever. Knowing that he is off limits since he is her best friends twin brother. Keeping her distance from Finn is getting hard but when his protective instincts start to threaten her job, she needs to decide if she wants to walk away or fight for the only man she’s loved.

This was such a cute story. I enjoyed the small town, sense of community and found family. Becky and Finn were so relatable. She loves to takes care of people and he just wants to take care of her. You can feel the chemistry and love they have for each other. This story gives you all the feels.

This is book two in the Hickory Falls series. A small town, sweet closed door romance. Each book can be read as a standalone but characters from previous books are mentioned. I have not read the other books in the series but they are now on my list to read!

Nursing Flames for the Firefighter by Deanna Lilly is a sweet, wholesome love story that’s full of all the characters we have come to know and love in the Hickory Falls series. Becky and Finn are just the sweetest and cutest. I love all trouble they get into and out of, helping people along the way. I’m already looking forward to the next book in this series! The performance was an AI voice that wasn’t too bad but it kept mispronouncing words which took me out of the story.
