I listened to this audiobook with my children, aged 5- and 6-years old. I will admit that the audio version had a hard time holding their attention, but I know that they were listening because they would make comments about some of the "things." I actually liked the book a lot because it had a lot of information in it, uses a great vocabulary (doesn't "dumb down" anything for kids), and uses a rhyming structure, which helps to remember the definitions. I like that a lot of the words chosen are things that my kids have actually asked me about - like oil drilling (we live not too far from where they do drilling for oil). I think that having a physical copy of the book might have held my kid's attention a little longer, especially when paired with the audio edition - kind of like a read-along. This is basically like a dictionary for kids, set to audio. Another nice thing about it is that it defines words that aren't normally included in typical kid's ABC books, so it exposes kids to more words and more concepts. Overall, I enjoyed the book and would listen to more books in this series with my kids.

Lots of great words/concepts 4 kids to learn about
