Every time she closes her eyes, Delaney Randall suffers another nightmare. A brutal serial killer has found his way inside the tough, take-no-prisoners FBI agent's head. Now she lives the murders through his eyes, from his deadly approach to his victims' screams - until the night he breaks into her apartment and she fears she's going to be the next to die. But the man who snatches Delaney from her home isn't the murderer. He's Tighe, a dangerous Feral Warrior who needs her and her visions to stop the rampages of a creature as inhuman as he is evil. Tighe has little use for humans, but as he and Delaney join forces to track the dark fiend, he falls for the intense beauty and becomes wild with an obsession as untamed as his heart.

I have less than an hour left into this book and felt compelled to write my review now. Ms. Palmer thank you for giving us this fantastical tale of the Feral warriors. Mr. Shapiro thank you for bringing the characters to life and making me want to know them more. Like each of us, the characters in these books are fragile and flawed (though one would not think that with their rough, strong, immortal bodies). As one who believes in the power of love, friendship, faith and promise this specific story touched my heart deeply. Delaney (the human woman) suffered her own pain and heartache and to compensate she lost her self in her work to the exclusion of any real relationship. Tighe (the Feral warrior who shapes into a Tiger) suffered his own deep loss centuries ago (I won't spoil the story with details) and he trusts very few. How they find each other and learn one another is very well done and to some degree, somewhat believable (perhaps that's just my wishful thinking). I love how every character in these stories are basically strong and determined, and yet so very fragile. But to be able to face the fear and open oneself up to trust can and will unleash some very powerful emotions not to mention some great fight and love scenes. I believe I know how this story will end, but I still want to see it all the way to the end. Needless to say, I'm ready for the next story and I think that one's going to be about BP!

The series keeps getting better and better.....

Although somewhat predictable, this is an enjoyable supernatural romance series. the narrator does a good job. Storyline holds your interest.

Tighe and Delaney's story is full of the action and the angst we have come to expect from Palmer. Their characters were more highly developed than Lion and Kara in book one, and their back stories were so tragic, one could not help but feel invested emotionally in them. A few areas had me scratching my head, when obvious solutions were not utilized and other obvious traps were fallen into by characters who legitimately should have known better. Although those flaws weaken the reliability of the characters, it was impossible not to fall for Tighe and Delaney in no small part due to the excellence of the narrator; he breathed life, pathos, and heart into all of the characters. I'll be listening to the next book in the series, Passion Untamed, shortly.
