What is light? There are few enigmas which have baffled mankind more over the ages than this question. Sir Isaac Newton maintained it was tiny matter, but others proved later it was energy, or a wave. Still, Newton was not wrong. As it turns out, light is a freak of nature. It is both particle and wave. It’s like being a word on paper, and a word spoken at the very same time. But is there more to this story?

Genesis chapter one has light being created twice. God’s very first command: “Let there be light” (verse 3) marked the first day. But then on day four, God created the sun, moon, and stars (verse 16). These dual creation events are not redundant. Both are necessary. The latter light, which enables our earthly vision, was the one debated by Newton, Einstein, and others. But what about the light which was created on day one? What kind of vision might need this divine, supernatural light?

If you are curious about this 'first' light and would like eyes to see that which is unseen, this book is for you. My prime example for exploring this divine light, is the Apostle Paul and his missionary journeys. After reading, you may see Saul of Tarsus in a bit different light, not to mention a little more supernatural glow throughout the bible.
