(A Police Dog's Story)

During a standard patrol of a neighborhood, officers Jon Tucker and his partner Tim Billings encounter a Tervuren Belgian Shepherd chained in the heat of a front yard. This leads to the dog being taken from its owner after a second infraction, adopted by officer Tucker and trained as a police dog, he names Rex. The partners and their new addition are called to investigate a missing toddler, not knowing that it will lead them down a path that involves organized crime and attempts on both their lives. The rescued dog proves invaluable throughout their journey.
