Stunning in every way

I’m Polish and hearing all the last names in the book explained names of so many villages and cities I remember from childhood. It was touching. This story is so very captivating and such an emotional and beautiful depiction of life in those tough times. No wonder this is a literary treasure. Living in USA now I love a glimpse of Poland’s important history and it’s suffering. Thank you Mr. Sienkiewicz
