Ms Amy Cecil is brilliant. I absolutely love her work. This series is an excellent PNP what-if literature out there. I have listened to this series several times already.

The narration is spot on.

I picked up the two audiobooks of this two-volume series during Audible’s annual sale. This second book contains way too much duplication from book one, in addition to a lot of quoted portions of Pride and Prejudice. The plot isn’t too bad but does contain flaws.

Too much repetition from Book One

I'm not a fan of flashbacks, but this has provided a great catch up and backstory. Finally, the villain meets his just deserts, but not without more drama and villainous acts!!! Great ending. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job.

finally!!!

The story draws you in from the prologue, and you will not want to stop until the final line of the epilogue has been read. Darcy is both spicy and swoony in this Pride and Prejudice alternate journey sequel that takes us from past to present, England to Nassau, and back again.

The new to me narrator does an excellent job of differentiating the characters, imbuing emotion into the text, and pacing the narrative. I thoroughly enjoyed the listen, which flew by!

Creative and Captivating
