With the defeat of the Triple Triad and the aftermath of their attack on Valcav, it's time for Nick and his classmates to start a new semester on Inferno Island with a show of solidarity and peace: A parade.

But when a long-lost hero comes back with his army of robotic penguins to kill Nick’s father, any hope for peace is thrown on its head. If that wasn't all, Carter Academy and its villainous students are about to unleash a diabolical plan unlike any the world has ever seen.

And if Nick wants to save the world, his friends, and his family, he’ll have to find a way to power up unlike ever before, fight his way through not one but two secret bases, and defeat the most powerful hero on the face of the planet.

Yes it is she's still his mother figure, it's still weird if you had just accepted that him sleeping with his step mom is weird I would have just been able to shake my head and move on, but no. You had to say, "It's not the same!" and try to justify sleeping with his mom.

It's not the same!

writing kind of fell apart the last few chapters and Nick turned into more of a whiny bitch than normal.

writing quality fell apart towards the end

The MC is annoying as hell and judgmental. So his dad killed the man’s wife (and thousands of other people) with no consequences then all of a sudden people are praising him as a hero like it never happened. Then when the man comes back for revenge the MC calls him sick because he wants to kill his dad for killing his wife and decides to go and take the rest of the man’s family away. And he always think he knows what’s best for other people.

Then when they broke into the man’s lair they got all weird because he had rooms that looked like his old house? What exactly is wrong with that? And what exactly makes Ice Bringer a villain? He didn’t kill anyone or try to conquer the world unlike Inferno (who they call a hero)

Then he ignore the fact that his girlfriend went missing and instead felt like the so called most powerful heroes needed his help. Then the worst of all whenever his dad gets hit during a fight he starts to cry

Ugh
