Ten years ago, Radio Personality Samantha Summers had her heart broken. Now, her former co-host and heartbreaker, Joe Conrad, has returned to Morgan, Texas and Samantha is forced to work with him once more. As the radio station manager points out, Samantha doesn’t have a choice in the matter. KPXJ needs the change. It’s either go along with the decision or she could possibly be looking for another job.

Single father Joe Conrad wants to raise his daughter in a small town. He has enough to deal with concerning five-year-old Charlie and her diabetes, but now he’s faced with the fact that Samantha is not happy about him returning.

Can Samantha and Joe set aside their past and make peace?

it's not for me

it does not capture my attention from chapter 1 and on. I find it very boring talking about uninterested things. did find it enjoyable when Samantha and Joe start working things out and helping each other.

entertaining

The last person that Samantha Summers expected to return to the radio station, was Joe Conrad. they both co-hosted the morning show, but a difference of opinion made Joe leave .He left abruptly 10 years ago and totally broke her heart.
Now he is returning to help with the ratings, the station is in dire financial trouble. Samantha had no option but to accept the changes.
She promised herself, she would keep her emotional distance from him
How could she not fall in love with him again, when she sees his is a terrific father to his cute, precocious 5 yr old daughter.
This story is easy listening, entertaining, with angst, drama, I recommend this story and will look forward to more stories by T.D. Jones
Jennifer Walden narration is very good. Her voices and characterization are spot on.

This is not a romance story

A man forcing a kiss on a woman in the workplace is not romantic. It is most women’s worst nightmare and thankfully has become grounds for immediate termination in every workplace that I’m aware of.
